Western Conference Play-in & Playoffs Thread

Not remembering how this was done in the past, but with this first round, the 2023 Western Conference Playoffs seem to warrant it's own thread!  I'll let the "other" (real) Conference and how we split off our games vs. the rest of the EC games be determined by the professionals here on site as far as threads go!!

OK, Ktron.  This Bud's for you.  Here's a big one to follow.  DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE MIKE BROWN and the SACRAMENTO KINGS!!

I have had it up to here with the media's play/take on the Kings and then out of the other side of their mouths praising Mike Brown, constantly implying and stating that the Kings are the Marshmallow out West.  Patronizing MF'ers!!!  

I hope the whole organization has been taking note of this barrage and all the insults and have plastered the locker room and every inch of headquarters and their coliseum with this totally unwarranted assault.

I am also guilty as charged.  I've said on this site for years SAC is the place where players go to die or fade off into the sunset.  Loserville.  But you've also noticed I'm not as boisterous about it through most of this season.  Charlotte, you're about to assume the title.  SAC is bowing out and handing their pinball crown to YOU!

No doubt Mike Brown has gotten a huge bad rap with his coaching career.  But not anymore.  It ends now and more specifically, it ends this round, Round #1 vs. GSW.

You can tell there is something different about Mike.  He's found his stride.  And no one more than me wants to see that realized with what will be a stunning (but not here because I'm predicting it with great accuracy in advance) "UPSET" of the World Champions.

I'm going to watch every game of this series.  SAC will have to earn it, though.  This will go at least 6 and probably 7.  GSW will not be able to just turn it on like they think.  All the ghosts of this season will come out on Golden State and not just disappear like everyone thinks they will.

I'm going to bet you see a unified team come out and punch the Warriors squarely in the face.  I'd be STUNNED if a locker room meeting hasn't taken place where Mike Brown bore his soul sobbing with tears telling the team is so proud of this team, but we're not done not by a long stretch.  We're not losing like all these newspaper clippings and sound bites posted around here saying we're going to fold up like a cheap suit.  This is OUR TIME.  This is YOUR TIME TO SHINE!  

You are going to see Mike Brown coach his ass off.  And you are going to SAC play their asses off.  And you will see the GSW take a bow and tip their respective caps to the Sacramento Kings.

Mike Brown has taking his last back seat.  ALL IN, Ktron.  ALL IN!!
