It's the right move.  He needs reps, he needs minutes and he's not going to get them in Boston.


This tells me that Lamar is higher up in the rotation than I thought he might have been, given his dearth of minutes.

I think in time Walsh will be a rotation player, but definitely not this season. Maine is the right place for him.

He is 19 years old, has so much to learn, and this will give him time on the floor to learn the pro game. I am glad they made this move.

Not a surprise, just waiting until the G-League starts before sending him down-east.

19-year old's not named James or Tatum are seldom NBA ready.

The G-League will give him a place to build his skills further.

These kids need to stay in college longer, especially with NIL money available and growing quickly. Besides, why miss out on the beer parties?
