Wow, 68! I remember watching Cornbread lead the unknown UNC-Charlotte 49’ers on a Cinderella run to the 1977 final four in the old Omni arena in Atlanta. They couldn’t get past the eventual champions Marquette Warriors in the semifinals, who were coached by Al McGuire in his final game. I was 13 years old. Where have the years gone?!?!?
