I have to agree with you there Dboss. Jaylen, especially this year, is much better than Siakam. My worry is that, along with Haliburten and the rest of the shooters on that team, their offense could be unbelievable. I really do not think they gave up too much trading Brown, I know it was his contract that made him a fit. After watching the Celtics in the past few weeks, with guys out, I think the league is overwhelmed by the strength of the Celtics. I love this team, they have shown me that they are ready to take that step, I just would hate to run into a buzz saw!! Worry, worry, my husband says that is all I do! But, my Celtics flag is waving outside my door right now, so, bring them on!! Tomorrow will be a good test for the team, I am assuming we will be at full strength. I kind of like this night off for guys, Jrue is due pretty soon, just not tomorrow!!!!!

Youth vs. experience. That will be the demise of the Pacers, Rosalie. Keep the flag flying high and proud. Be prepared to replace it with a new banner in a few months. And then don't get too used to that one...

Rosalie

No doubt that he will make the Pacers a better team.

When I look at that team before the trade I saw a very impressive offensive group.  Siakum is a slasher and really good midrange shooter.  Personally I do not think they needed more offense.  They lack center depth and Tyrese will never be accused of being a defensive stopper.

It remains to be seen if the Pacers can elevate their team to a top 4 ballclub in the East.  Without playing better defense I do not see how they get there.

In either case the Celtics are playing like the top dog.
