Trades around the NBA
Hayward to OKC provides a versatile wing. His injury history however remains problematic for any team. He has not played since December 26th due to a calf injury. If healthy, he will make them a better team.
The Knicks reunited with Alex Burks and also added Bogdanovic. They definitively improves their depth off the bench.
The Sixers added Buddy Hield which should enhance their perimeter shooting however the big issue for them remains the big guy in the middle. They have zero depth at center outside of Bamba
Teams in contention (1-10) that still need to add pieces includes The Pacers - defense, The Heat - offense, The Bucks - defense, The Cavs - Size in their backcourt, The Hawks - defense, The Magic - perimeter shooting. Da Bulls - a brand new start.,
The Celtics could use another wing that can score or defend at a high level. A combination of both would be an unbelievable addition.
Out West the Mavs upgraded their PF spot by adding PJ Washington and swapped centers (Holmes out Gafford in) Buyers remorse has clearly taken hold (Grant Williams)
As I mentioned OKC added GH and if healthy he would be a solid addition on offense.
T'Wolves traded for Monte Morris who has only played 6 games all year

Well the Love affair between Grant and Dallas is over he got traded to Charlotte for PJ Washington and Seth Curry. Closer to home Grant. Philly traded Beverly to Milwaukee for Payne. Biggest trade was Knicks getting Bogdonovich and Alex Burks do not know what knicks gave up but this is a good move for them

Shocking how fast Grant wore out his welcome in Dallas, his production was also putrid. Those 2 factors made the franchise desperate to unload him.

Call it the The Kryrie Effect. Grant's just predicting the future there in DAL. Everyone has quickly forgotten Old Kryrie. He's coming soon to a theater near you. Just like Draymond. Stripes don't change. Both have proclaimed that themselves. Don't believe the hype. DAL didn't have to rub Grant's face in it by sending him to the Train Station, though.
The media, Knick fans and New Yorkers are beside themselves. This looks so much like Steven A. saying, "Wait for it," in reference to the Cowboys every post-season El Foldo, I almost cannot distinguish the two. These are the Knicks. They will somehow manage to blow this whole thing up. Wait for it. I'll say it for Steven A. since he is clearly not objective on this. If he can't see the forest for the trees, which all of New York seems to be piling on, they will get what they have coming and will be more entertaining than what has been happening to Dallas in football for the last 28 years.

I read where Grant's 'personality' was not a good fit for the Mavs. Apparently he rubbed too many people the wrong way.
