2012 Celtics sign Dwight Howard

Possibility for the 2012-13 season. Howard will be an unrestricted free agent. The magic will lose again this year and probaly next year. He will be ready for a move and the Celtics should have some cap space even if they resign baby and perk after this season.

Obviously I am so bored waiting for the 2011 playoffs to begin that I have nothing better to do than speculate about the futrue of the Boston Celtics.
I'll bet that DA is already thinking about this one.

I think our prospects of getting him are getting better and better,hes got no backup,not even a Joe Kliene?He has to do 25-20 every night just to have a chance to win.....WTF was management thinking?Their defense just got worse despite Supermans talents.Hes gonna not want to always have to carry the load,hes gonna be getting more and more worn out,he'll want to be part of a real team and play with a purpose,play the game the way its supposed to be played.Him with Baby,Perk and Semih,with possibly KG still around to lend a hand on the frontline could be very tempting.

D12 in green - not a bad idea. As long as DA gets a cap space and keeps gradual rebuilding. Also, a lot depends on who's the coach if Doc is not here.

If it's at all possible it's an intriguing thought.

Within a couple of years it's going to be Rondo and a bunch of new faces. The premier center in the game would make a nice addition to a team with one of the top point guards.

You never know about these things; in the meantime it's fun to speculate.

I think you are on to something. First Shaq will retire after next year. Second, the way KG looks he's got another 4 years to go and would slide into Shaq's position as a guy off the bench and at a much reduced salary. I think Howard admirers the Celtics from afar and see's what type of organization we have. Celtics salary is as follows:

I'd love DH here. He knows the only place he can win a championship is with us. Don't want him to become a CB, Malone, Nash, etc. Nothing wrong with that. Great players. No ring. He would be the second coming of KG for sure. Danny's all over it like a cheap suit. On his radar for sure.

I'd want to have a front row seat for that Dwight Howard-Rajon Rondo free-throw shooting contest.
