WEST TO RETURN 2/22
Delonte West looks to return February 22

Delonte West is expected to return to the Celtics’ lineup the game after the All-Star break. West, who has missed the last 35 games with a broken wrist, received the good news after a recent CT scan. (CSNNE.com)
West expects to return to action in the Celtics’ first game after the All-Star Break.
If all goes according to his schedule, he would play February 22 against the Golden State Warriors on the road.
“That’s the update that I have after seeing the CT scan,” he told CSNNE.com. “Give it another week or so and I can get back to it. I’m happy with those results.”
With Marquis Daniels down for at least one or two months, the Celtics need West to solidify the bench. They also also need West to take pressure off Nate Robinson, who has been — I’ll put this very delicately — not very great the past couple weeks or so. Needless to say, the Celtics can succeed without West. But he adds another viable weapon off the bench, and, more importantly, a (hopefully) consistent weapon.

Re: WEST TO RETURN 2/22
Delonte can't get back soon enough. Nate has been pressing trying to pick up slack. Delonte will allow Nate to play more freely with less pressure. C's need more scoring options with the second unit. An acquisition of Posey, T. Allen, Battier, or Rip Hamilton would be a welcome addition also!-MD.

MD,
Whom would you suggest the Celtics get rid of in order to make an acquisition?

I don't have to make THAT decision, but it should be someone that is not producing and has not over an extended period of time. Otherwise we have to deplete the ranks by one from the area that we could most afford to. The organization's mind set recently has been "Win Now". Why not follow suit.
