Rondo playing hurt?

Here's an interview with KG on WEEI, where he claims Rondo is playing hurt.

Now, here's an interview with Doc, where he says KG's wrong, Rondo's not hurt.

In this article/interview, Doc also says that Shaq will be back in a week (I'll believe it when I see him) and that JON could be back in 2 weeks.

A major reason I am not bullish about the C's chances in the playoffs is the Rondo situation. My sense is that this kid is walking around in a complete fog and even he... particularly he.... doesn't know what is going on.

A very corrosive situation potentially.

I like our chances with Arroyo and DWest playing and being competitive but with the murky situation around Rondo, it makes it hard to plan day to day and game to game.

Some predictability and consistency is needed to settle down and focus the team but Rondo's issues seeming to be dominating and distracting the team in a most unfortunate way.

Due to Nate's inability to play point and DWest's multiple injuries this season, Rondo has played a lot of minutes.

He needs a break, mentally and physically.

I'd love for us to have the #1 seed in the EC, but if we lose that because Rondo rests for a week, I'm ok with that as long as he's ready come playoffs. When he's "on", homecourt doesn't matter. Our experience and talent will overcome crowd noise and homer refs.
