That is quite a good group.
Hooray for Satch, it is about time.
Hooray for Rodman, my favorite non Celtics player.
And let's not forget Artis was a Celtic, however brief his stint.

Re: Satch Sanders, nine others voted into HOF
Well deserved.
I'm glad Rodman's in. I think it was disgraceful that he's been kept out for so long. Same old, same old. It's all about points scored for the meathead voters, not about how they helped the team and role-playing.
Sabonis has to be in because of his overall career. He didn't make it to the NBA until the tail end of his career. He was UNBELIEVABLE when he was young.
Tex Winter deserves it like nobody else. Xs-and-Os coaching genius.

Re: Satch Sanders, nine others voted into HOF
Bobh,
If a player averaged say 31 points and 13 assists for a good part of their long career, won 5 championships and yet was not a good defensive player, is there any chance he wouldn't make it on the first ballot? No need to answer.
Defense may win championships, but offense gets you the big salary, the awards and the girls. (Well I guess Dennis did OK with the girls)

I am so glad that a guy of Satch's stature finally made to the Hall of Fame.
I am sure everyone of his teammates is applauding this selection. They all knew his value to their team. Such a smoooooth man!
