Want to play the Cavs? Get your flu shot!
Today's reports that LeBron James and two other Cavs players are being tested for the H1N1 swine flu virus come as no surprise. NBA players travel widely (including on the court) and are in contact with a great number of people.
This is one more reason to be grateful for our deep bench. It's not unusual in any given season for players to lose a game or two due to illness. It's not always the long-term injury that costs you a game or two in the loss column.
Good to know that if KG is shivering under a blanket and eating chicken soup, Sheed and Baby have it covered.

Unless of course..........Baby and Sheed are under blankets too.
Wonder if it could ever get to the point games might have to be cancelled due to this flu if it spreads far enough on one team or teams.

I know that at least one household of our Sam's Celtics Central posting family has been affected. (I'll let him reveal identities if he wishes.) Here's wishing all the best to all who may be exposed. We need our friends AND our opponents to be at full strength. Thanks for the heads-up, NYCelt.

Being that it was a 1-2 day thing for the kid and 2-3 for me I don't know if it was much of anything. We are all "normal" now whatever that may mean.
And in keeping up with other things too. Marcus had another "open gym" last evening. A couple other kids that wrestled last year are out for hoops that are good. He knows he will have his work cut out for him not only to earn time but to be sure to make the team. Met the JV coach last eve too. He is just out of college and this is his first job.
