Marcus update (hey Jeb wake up!)

Well his varsity baseball season is over. And now he's found himself on 2 summer teams and will be in anywhere from 40-50 games this summer. He's pitched a little so far and at least has found the strike zone but now needs to find the edges of it.

He's playing on an American Leigion team with some really good area players. All are still in HS some will be seniors next fall. Hitting wise he is certainly holding his own and he's playing a very good first base. If nothing else it does give him more experience and lets him know how much more he needs to work on things. His other team is a 16U group that he was with last season. 4 games this weekend with 2 on Saturday over in Canada.

Both leagues are WOOD BAT only leagues, he's already broke one (not his)! His should arrive UPS today or tomorrow.

Here are a couple photos of the American Leigion game the other eve. We won 11-3. Marcus allowed all 3 runs but actually pitched well only 2 balls were hit hard and he only walked 1 in the 3 innings he pitched (9 inning games in this league)

Beat: You don't have to wake Jeb. I think he uses coffee for blood. Oh can't you find a Summer Basketball league for Marcus to play in to supplement his non-baseball playing off hours?
