Interesting Trivia?
Happened to stumble upon this one.
Name the NBA player that for one game scored the HIGHEST percentage of his teams total points? For a bonus give the number of his points and his teams points?
(hint: it has nothing to do with Hershey PA)

I am having to go with when Kobe scored 81 of LA's 122 against Toronto in January of 2006.

Re: Interesting Trivia?
Not even close TJ.
That represented about a two/thirds of the points the answer is much higher. (corrected and the answer is still severl % points higher)

Re: Interesting Trivia?
Probably a pre-24 second clock game.
George Mikan guessing 20 of 24 points or something like that.

Re: Interesting Trivia?
I am now thinking it would have to be a really low scoring game.
I know the Lakers were on the losing end of the lowest scoring game in NBA history. (19-18) in the early 1950's. I've never looked for a box score, but I could see Mikan scoring the majority of the 18 points.

Re: Interesting Trivia?
Clsoe enought TJ,
1951
The Fort Wayne Pistons played against Mikan's Lakers, the Pistons took a 19–18 lead. Afraid that Mikan would mount a comeback if he got the ball, the Pistons passed the ball around without any attempt to score a basket.
Mikan had 15 of the 18 points (83.33%) of his teams total.

God, the spectators at that game must have been more interested watching spiders make webs.
