Per Adrian W of Yahoo Sports Larry Brown has interest in joining the Celtic staff.

There are numerous coaches who have had assistant coaches that have gone on to head coaching jobs in the NBA, probably nobody more than Red but Pat Riley (Doc Rivers being a notable fruit of the Riley tree) and others, but has there ever been a coach that has been as good at persuading ALREADY PROVEN coaching talent to come join him as assistants?

Tom T., already highly regarded as a defensive genius
Lawrence Frank, former head coach of NJ Nets

and now maybe World Champion Larry Brown?

I can't think of another coach that would be better at bringing along our young talent: Jujuan Johnson, E'taun Moore, Avery Bradley, Gilbert Brown. He might even provide a different kind of voice in Baby's ear that will resonate a little better with him.

The Celts are talking about promoting a highly regarded assistant coach named Longobardi, but Danny, if you can find a way to squeeze Larry Brown onto the payroll...
