Marc Stein: Latest word emanating from Boston that Celtics are re-signing Sasha Pavlovic on a one-year deal for depth. Should be official soon. This is not the splash anyone was looking for... but it adds depth at the wing. If it's a minimum wage deal, they could always just ditch him down the road. Sasha is nowhere near a splash. He's more like a drizzle fizzle at the end of your favorite garden (Not Boston) hose.

Personally, I was glad when the Celtics signed Sasha at the end of last season and I thought he had periods where he played well. Danny's experiment of wheeling in bodies en masse didn't turn out so well, but I thought Sasha did ok.

This really puts E'Taun and Gilbert "on the bubble".

Unless, of course, Danny trades Sasha, now that he owns him.
