First Team:
LeBron James, Oklahoma City's Serge Ibaka, Orlando's Dwight Howard, Los Angeles Clippers' Chris Paul, and Memphis' Tony Allen.

Second Team:
Kevin Garnett, Rajon Rondo, Chicago's Luol Deng, New York's Tyson Chandler, and Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant.


The voting for the All-Defensive Teams is done by the 30 NBA coaches, who are not allowed to vote for their players from their own team. DPOY is voted on by a panel of 124 sportscasters around the country.

Interestingly, this year's DPOY, Tyson Chandler, made the coach's 2nd team. I guess the media and the media don't see things the same way.

Avery Bradley got 3 points, including a 1st team vote. How much do you want to bet SVG gave him that 1st place vote after the way AB disassembled SVG's point guard, Jameer Nelson, last month in Orlando?

I think you need to edit your next to last paragraph to say coaches and media.

Kobe "I don't take charges" Bryant's inclusion in the 2nd team makes this a joke. The fact that the coaches voted for this makes it seem more than just a popularity contest, but it has me shaking my head.
