POST GAME MIAMI - GAME # 5 - Page 3 Empty Re: POST GAME MIAMI - GAME # 5

Sam, Arian is well now. Free from his illness for five months now. I'm also doing well. Eight weeks ago I met a new gal, and we've been having a magical relationship. She even watches the Celtics games with me. Tuesday night my son Arian called form Mississippi while the game was on, and my older son in Maine called and texted through the game as did my daughter form Toledo. It's a family tradition that we watch Celtics games together - even if just connected by phone - and we've been doing it since the 1976 Finals!

Rosalie, I share your sentiments about the Celts. It's time long overdue that they get some respect. I've been writing all season long that this team reminds me of the 1969 champions. Few gave them respect either, yet they turned out to be one of the greatest Finals teams ever. Sam was there for game 7 - what a story he had to tell about it. My favorite part of that tale was that during the apres-ski party after they had won, when groupies were throwing themselves all over the players, Havlicek remained faithful to his wife. Now that's class.

Worcester, that's wonderful news all around. Actually, it's exceptional news!!!! Sounds as though both you and Arian are coming through like champions. Not a huge surprise, but it makes my wife and me very happy.

Sam, I'm hoping to visit Paris next winter or Spring. Might you be going then too?

Worcester,

Not in the winter, but April is always a possibility. We went so far over budget on this year's European trip that we may have to skip Paris next year. The negotiations haven't started yet. She has caught onto my gambit of saying, "This could be my last chance." She has heard it for too many years now.

If we should wind up in Paris at the same time, we'll buy the first Kir Royale.
