Celtics Vegas summer league schedule announced

The Boston Celtics are participating in both the Las Vegas and Orlando summer leagues this year, giving their young guys a huge chance to earn a closer look at training camp. The Orlando camps are sparsely covered, but the Vegas league has become a pretty big thing. You’ll be able to watch most or all of the games from home.

Today, the NBA released the full schedule. Here are the Celtics games:

Monday, July 16
3 PM — Atlanta vs. Boston (Cox Pavilion)
Tuesday, July 17
10 PM — Chicago vs. Boston (Cox Pavilion)
Thursday, July 19
10:30 PM — Boston vs. Sacramento (Thomas & Mack Center)
Saturday, July 21
10:30 PM — Milwaukee vs. Boston (Thomas & Mack Center)
Sunday, July 22
10 PM — Boston vs. LA Clippers (Cox Pavilion)
Yeah, those are some late games, but bear in mind Vegas is on Pacific time.
Like I said, the trip is worth it if you can swing it. But keep in mind I’m a “Vegas guy”… so I really don’t need a reason to go and enjoy it. I do plan on being there and hopefully covering it and talking to a lot of our young guys. I’ll keep you updated on that next month.
