Ainge: Celtics likely done adding players
Good news for Xmas, Joseph, Melo and Smith (oh yeah, and Darko and Micah Downs and Colonel Kurz and Lucky the Leprechaun, who has as much a chance of making the club as a player as Downs and Kurz).

Despite recent speculation that the Boston Celtics would search for a
veteran backup point guard to replace the retired Keyon Dooling, Danny
Ainge said Tuesday he's content with the current roster and doesn't plan
to make any more offseason moves.
Speaking to reporters at the Shamrock Classic golf tournament, Ainge said
the Celtics like Dionte Christmas, Kris Joseph and Jamar Smith and
expect those three to compete for Boston's final two roster spots.
After signing Darko Milicic, the Celtics have 13 players with
guaranteed contracts. Joseph, a second-round pick out of Syracuse, and
Christmas, who impressed during summer league after excelling overseas
for the past three seasons, are likely to have the inside track on those
spots assuming Ainge remains true to his word and doesn't make any more
additions.
Ainge seemed happy with Boston's roster, which was revamped this
offseason with hopes of providing Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Rajon
Rondo with a beefed-up layer of support.
"I think we're deep at every position," Ainge said.
Especially in the backcourt, thinks Doc Rivers. Avery Bradley isn't
expected to return until December or January, but when he does he'll be
joining a crowded backcourt that already featured Rajon Rondo and added
Jason Terry and Courtney Lee this summer.
"When Avery Bradley comes back, I don't think anyone has the backcourt that we do," Rivers said.

Re: Ainge: Celtics likely done adding players
Bob,
That's good news. It's probably easy enough to pick up a journeyman PG during the season, and having another one on hand now could only have limited the opportunities for Christmas and Smith, in particular, to show what they can do at the point.
