Welcome Aboard?

I have noticed that there are usually at least as many guests visiting this forum as there are registered users. While it's nice to know there are people interested in what is said and posted here, it'd be nicer if you were to express yourselves as well.

Dues here are optional. Monies that are donated by members go to good causes, either in support of a board member needing help or to a good charity. If you choose not to donate, that's fine too.

Game On Threads are found on the home page, under the category "Game On".

So, I encourage visitors to register and join us. As long as you share in the spirit of conviviality and not make nasty personal remarks about another member or his/her thoughts, opinions and observations you will be welcomed regardless of whether your views are similar to the general population's or not. We even have members who are fans of teams other than the Celtics and we benevolently tolerate their blindness and ignorance anyway. :-) Seriously, as long as you talk hoop and aren't here just to pick fights, all are welcome. Impress us with your basketball IQ, not your anonymous pugnacity, and we'll all have more fun.

Hope to meet those guests who choose to actively participate rather than merely lurk and perhaps even share the interactive energy found on the Game On threads.

Actually, dues are no longer optional. They're now completely nonexistent.

I received a message from one guest who has had difficulty registering on our forum. We're trying to help him solve the problem. If any other guest has difficulty registering or logging on, please let me know, either by private mail on the forum or by emailing directly to me: SlipSamCelt@aol.com. I'm definitely not the greatest technical guy, but we have at least three administrators (NYCelt, gyso and Pete) who know what they're doing.

It would be great to get to know more fans and to experience an even broader spectrum of opinion on the board. Regardless of team allegiance, writing ability, and basketball knowledge, you're welcome here as long as you're ready to contribute to convivial discussion of basketball.
