"that thread on draft picks"
Mulcogiseng - Here it is!
My hope is that somehow Danny is able to get Jabari Parker in the 2014 draft.

Re: "that thread on draft picks"
As of 6/25, two days before the draft:
draftexpress has us taking Shane Larkin. I'd say his stock dropped some now that Doc, who has known him all his life, is gone.
mynbadraft.com has us taking Rudy Gobert, the 7'2" condor from France.
nbadraft.net has us taking Giannis Adetokoubo, the 6'9" toothpick "point guard (?)" from Greece.
Yahoo (not Adrian W) has us taking the Greek (easier than his name).
SB Nation has us taking Tony Mitchell. Another county heard from.
USA Today has us taking Steven Adams, from New Zealand by way of Pitt.
Both pundits on CBS Sports has us taking Dennis Schroeder.
Interestingly, only two out of 8 pickers have us taking a center even though every single one of these analyses have at least two of the generally-talked-about centers still available at #16 (Adams, Plumlee, Dieng, Gobert, Olynyk). Yes, Cody Zeller and Alex Len are talked about too, but they are NOT going to be available at 16, these are just the ones that are. They have Danny swinging for the fences with an 18 year old freak who hasn't played against real competition yet (Greek), a player who did not look good in tryouts because he doesn't have an NBA body (Schroeder), an undersized point guard (ok, not a bad idea) and a player from North Texas State (?) who is described by mydraft.net like he's a 6'9", 238# 3/4 tweener. Don't we already have one like that, and a damn good one at that? We need to use a slightly-out-of-lottery pick like 16 for someone better than a backup for Jeff Green.
These guys are a riot.

Re: "that thread on draft picks"
I'm going with USA Today's pick - Steven Adams. Think of the commercial spots he could do with Sam Adams beer and ale.
Danny's no fool. If Adams is available, we'll get him.

Re: "that thread on draft picks"
I read somewhere that Giannis is Greek for John or Jonny. Pronounce the 'j' like a 'y'.
Yawnny!!
I read an article about this guy. Freakish upside, but like you said, he hasn't played against real competition yet.
It makes me wish we has another 2013 mid first round pick. Then we could take a more known guy like Dieng as well as another player that has unproved potential. Kind of like we picked Sully and Fab last year.
