While I liked Doc, lack of sufficient attention to detail would seem like a fair criticism of him. The results of his timeout plays seemed to suggest more attention to detail than the undisciplined halfcourt offense the team so frequently ran. Much more attention to defensive details between Doc and whatever assistant coach was in charge of the defense.
