Is it better for a team to hang around the "senior" team at practices or will they benefit more from the game practice at D-League?
The ability level is below NBA of course, but from the few games I've seen perhaps sometimes close to NCAA Division I ball.
Good question as to where the player benefits more; I really don't know. I've always thought that playing beats sitting anyway.

It would be a bummer if Daniels is done. Hope that it is just a "what if worst came to worst" scenario and not a likely one.NYCelt wrote:LA,
The only information I have heard was from the broadcast of the Chicago game on NBA TV. I think it was near the start of the 4th quarter they showed a shot of Tyronn Lue (Still in his warmups as I recall; get a shower coach!) and had a short report that Lue had been in the pre-game shootaround and was preparing to join the active roster after the first of the year. It was said that this came from the Celtics but I don't recall an individual being named. They went on to say The Celtics would activate Lue by February 1 if Daniels was determined to be out for the season.
I caught no specifics beyond that. Perhaps if someone still has it recorded
they could go back and review the statements made.

If we look at the way that Doc has handled this team since the big three came (and even before that), it was obvious from the day they signed Lue that he would somehow fit into their plans for backup PG. Doc just doesn't trust young guys enough to give them minutes, even sometimes at the end of a game. I said just a week ago, after Daniels surgery that it was just a matter of time until this happened. I am not a big Tyrone Lue fan, but he has been around a while now and he can at least bring the ball up and get it over the line without dribbling off his foot, losing the ball by making a terrible pass, etc, that has been happening when Tony Allen handles the ball. He drives me nuts. I wonder if there is a little ADD in Tony's personality? His attention span is nil, and if you listen to the way Doc is talking, he is just looking for a reason sometimes to yank Allen out of the game, especially after a stupid play or two.
Hudson will get his shot, it is just going to take time. He handles the ball well for a young guy new to the league, but he has a shooter's mentality.
Give him a while to develop and we could have a terrific 1 - 2 punch at point.

Tony, Tony, Tony.....He really seems to have trouble focusing Rosalie...you might be right. Maybe it's time for some Ritalin...as opposed to Hennessey, at the half....
Maybe just never let him dribble, only move without the ball...I don't know...
