As we are sports fans, and it's a slow day too, this is a baseball question put forth to me yesterday by my son Pete Gammons Jr. er I mean Marcus.
These to HOFers reached major milestones of 300 wins and 3000 hits in not only the same season........but on the very same day.

...and on August 4, 1985, I got married for the first time.
Should have been watching Baseball instead!
(The second time worked out much better)
