So, he worked on KG for hours to get him to go with him to the Nets, now he is gone. Regrets KG? $13 million can heal your wounds. It seems the Nets didn't want him anymore for what it would cost them. Wonder how long it is going to take for them to trade DWill, he is a huge disappointment as far as I
am concerned.

Maybe this will also trigger KG to finally hang 'em up.  A few years overdue, but he needs to call it a career.  They're saying it looks like he's coming back, but I don't know why.  He's starting to fit that classic profile of former greats who stayed too long.  Personally, I hate seeing him schooled by end of bench guys like has started to happen the past few seasons.  I would have liked to see him take a more dignified approach and have left three or four years ago. His decline, especially since '07-'08, is tough to watch, especially if you recall his prime with the Wolves.

When I was a kid I was a Mickey Mantle fan.

He was always a .300 hitter, almost.............but he later admitted he stayed on at least 1-2 seasons too many. If he had retired 1 year sooner he still would have had well over 500 homers and a career batting average over .300, but it now stands forever at .298.

Agree KG needs to retire now. He just can't play at a high level anymore.

Watching the last Brooklyn playoff game was heart wrenching. KG sat on the bench in the last few minutes of the game, his head in his hands. You wonder what he was thinking, WHY??

He has made a ton of money in his life, is this last paycheck worth it?
I know $13 million is a lot of money, but there comes a time when he just has to walk away. Same with Steve Nash, who admitted he was coming back for the money.

Oh well, just the thoughts of an ordinary person who could only dream of having THAT much money!
