WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF?
Larry decides to blow it up, offers Hibbert to Cleveland for Wiggins? Would it happen? I know nothing about numbers, but......

I think that Lebron may have something to say about the enigmatic Roy Hibbert, especially since Varajo is one of his favorite players.

Re: WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF?
I think a Wiggins plus players trade to Minnesota has already been agreed upon. This past weekend, Minnesota's owner, Glen Taylor, said that a Kevin Love trade is likely by Aug. 23 or Aug. 24. Aug. 23 is the 1st day that Wiggins can be traded.

Re: WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF?
I can't imagine Bird making major changes.
Indiana has a decent core on the team and appear to just need a little fine tuning to alter last year's folding act. They'll have to get by without one of their top players for this season, but overall they're young and talented enough to remain solid contenders for some time to come.
Except for their alleged obsession with Love, I'm not sure that Cleveland would want to let Wiggins get away.

It's amazing how Hibbert's stock seems to have fallen rather dramatically since a year ago. One wonders whether his abilities have mysteriously regressed or whether there's something more personal involved.

He has a real problem focusing and pushing himself. It is a shame, a guy that size. All I can remember is Ralph Sampson who never lived up to his press clippings. They ate him alive.

Hibbert was so bad the 2nd half of the season and in the playoffs.

As someone that spent some time in the Midwest, I find that one hilarious.

Re: WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF?
I think of Hibbert as a manufactured player: someone who has little innate instinct for the game but through hard work and dedication under excellent instruction has become a decent and at times a very good player.
But as a manufactured player his confidence seems to rest on a shaky foundation. If he allows himself to slip at all the learned skills he worked so hard to develop melts away.
