For context, the closest player to Rondo -- Ricky Rubio -- is nearly three points behind, while John Wall is the only other player in the league averaging more than 22.8 points created by assist per game."

As I said in another thread, do it this summer under this CBA. It will seem like a bargain in a couple years.

Besides, it isn't my money. If signing Rondo to a max contract doesn't keep the Celtics from acquiring another max guy via trade or free agency next summer, why not?

I thought Rondo only got all those assists per fame cuz of "the bi..." um ya'll know who I mean.....

Now according to all the experts all his teammates are scrubs and he's still getting em... sumptin ain't jivin. .
