A Meaningful Veteran's Day
We would be remiss if we allowed Veterans Day to pass without our recognition. We all know the stories. We all share patriotism (as far as I know anyway). But it seems as though, every year lately, the world gives us new reasons to refresh our sense of anguish from loss and to express our deep affection and gratitude for those who basically traded their lives for ours. Regardless of the politics of the moment, this country has given all of us, and so many more, so very much. There's no manual for world survival over time, but those who have died in the service of our country stand at the forefront of those who have given their level best.
God bless America.

Nice post Sam and love the avatar.
Our local American Legion had a very moving event today and it was an honor to attend.
