Tark the Shark and The Runnin' Rebels of UNLV were quite the show for a while, weren't they?  Tark sure had a colorful career.

I remember the poster who went by the handle Jerry Tarkanian too.  A Florida business owner, as I recall, who attended The Citadel, if my memory serves correctly, and then went to UNLV during the Tark years.

And claimed to be the same age as Tark. But, while he expressed many interesting views on basketball, he never once flaunted his fame if, indeed, he was the real McCoy.

Whether or not we ever had the pleasure of his company, I'm sorry to see him go.
