Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
Mickey? There goes the Love theory, unless he can play center at 6'8.25"

Mickey is a hard-nosed offensive weapon down on the block.
Sully, Kelly and Bradley in a package out somewhere?

Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
Mickey is a much better rim protector than Bobby Portis. He plays a lot bigger than his size.
Another absolutely elite athlete, can replace Bass, and has 3-4 positional versatility.
We got a poor man's WCS in Mickey

Will Dakari be there at #45? Or do we go with another PG and get A Harrison?

Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
Good to hear all that about Mickey. I'd still like to land Dakari or Upshaw. Any chance we can trade Smart ++ to Philly for a center like Noel?
Minny gets xmas. They are loading up big time.

Xmas, Towns, Pekovic, Dieng, Bennett, Wiggins, Payne.

Upshaw and Dakari are still available ...only 1 pick ahead of us. C'mon Danny. Pick one of them. Please!

Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
Suns take Andrew Harrison. Good pick for them; serious second round value there.
Now; D Johnson to cap our evening off?
We're drafting for need...after PG, shooting and a big to bang down low, a center who can actually make his living in the paint would be good.

Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
Well, no center.
Thornton.
Still, even with Harrison off the board, there's that second PG I was speculating about earlier.
Ultimately, pretty close to what I posted this afternoon in terms of positions we would fill.
I had it PG, PF, C, PG.
We went PG, SG, PF, PG.

Any truth to the rumor the NBA is lowering the basket height to 6'7"? That would explain Danny's draft choices.

Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
Here’s a few things you probably didn’t know about Rozier, according to his college bio:
– He is scared of squirrels.
— His favorite food is spaghetti with ranch and sugar on it.
– His favorite midnight snack is honey buns and hot Cheetos.
– He would most like to meet God.
— His favorite NBA teams are the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat.
— The best advice he ever received: “Your family is starving and opponents are in your way. Take them out so your family won’t have to struggle anymore.”
JUST KEEP HIM AWAY FROM SULLY!

If Smart is in Danny and Brad's doghouse for some reason, then this draft makes a lot more sense.

Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
RJ Hunter was getting a lot of late lotto/mid-first buzz, so getting him at 28 is widely recognized as great value.
And nbadraft.net called the Rozier pick a great one.
But man do we need a big body, and we didn't get one.
