The Celtics put together this little “Day In The Life…” video that lets you behind the scenes of the Las Vegas Summer League with Marcus Smart. The highlights…

He seemed to like singing “Hey Mickey” to Jordan Mickey. This is impressive because the song came out in 1982 and Marcus Smart was born in 1994.

Brad Stevens jogging back to the team hotel (2:25 mark) is hilarious. Smart’s “Oh, he’ll do that. I’m not doing that” and “He’s gonna die before he gets to the Motel 6 with no water.” are great lines. Bear in mind, it’s like 106 in Vegas during July, and Brad’s out there running at high noon.

Smart was really involved, giving guys instructions on how to defend the pick and roll and taking part in the coaching during the game he sat out against Philly.
