WALTHAM -- One day after the Boston Celtics' first two-a-day session, Amir Johnson fielded a question about whether any of his young teammates had stood out. With hardly any hesitation, the veteran named rookie Terry Rozier.
"Terry," Johnson replied. "Terry's incredibly quick and athletic. Works hard. Unbelievable player. The rest of the young guys are the same way. They're high-energy, and it gets everybody going."
Before opening practice on the second day of training camp, Johnson said the first two-a-day session had been competitive but inconsistent -- just like head coach Brad Stevens expected.
"Guys are getting after it," Johnson said. "One thing I see is we're rushing a little bit because guys are so anxious to get after it. So we've definitely gotta take our time. It's going to take time to adjust to each other. We're definitely getting there."
