Possible help from Tornoto tonight

A win by TOR over ATL tonight will give us third place all by ourselves temporarily as we sit idle. That could come in handy as we have to play ATL, CHA and MIA all coming up. We'll need all the help we can get. Of course winning out will get it for us as well. I'm not expecting GSW to do it, so nor do I expect we will win out either.

Well, not so fast. If MIA wins vs. CHI then we are tied with MIA. Oh well.

And Miami owns the tie-breaker over us unless we beat them in the next game which would tie the season series. Next tiebreaker is Conference record and ours is currently 29-19, Miami's is 28-19.

I cannot recall a race this close with only 4 or 5 games left.

I think we do not want to finish lower than # 4 although we would prefer # 3.

If 4 plays 5 we would have the home court advanatge in the first round. The idea that we have to avoid playing Toronto of Cleveland means that both of those teams will most likely beat us.
