Celtics No. 3 pick Jaylen Brown day-to-day with knee injury

According to reporters in Utah for the NBA summer league, Celtics No. 3 pick Jaylen Brown is day-to-day with a knee injury and he will miss Tuesday night’s game.

This is just a precaution as he’s expected to play Thursday, so Celtics fans can breath a sigh of relief.

This kid showed me enough in his first summer game that there is no way that I would play him again until this knee issue is completely healed.

He is every bit as much athletic as he was described and also every bit as raw, but playing him on a hyperextended knee just to see him play in a summer game tonight is not a good move.

Make sure that he is healed as he is not some scrubini that has to show that he should get a D League spot this season like many of the guys who are in the summer leagues.
