Celtics Summer Forecast: Biggest concerns for 2016-17

Of course several of the bloggers mentioned 3 point shooting,  Rebounding and replacing Turner.

They do not think Boston has improved in the area of 3 point shooting however as I pointed out in a previous thread, losing two poor 3 point shooters makes us better and then adding Horford and Green makes us better.  I predict that we will be in the middle of the pack which is average.

The rebounding may hurt some but it is not like Sullinger was a GREAT rebounder.  He averaged 8.3 boards per game.  That is solid but far from great.  Other players will need to step up and Horford will at least make up for a good portion of the rebounds that Sully used to get.  

I think the biggest concern may be replacing the ball handling and playmaking skills of Turner.  Smart and Rozier are prime candidates to take over that role.

We shall see how this works out and as Sam used to always say...see you in April.

Biggest concern for me is will Smart be able to get his shooting up to near NBA average this year.

If he does, watch out.

I wouldn't be surprised. He just needs to stay injury free.
