I missed the game so I must defer to those who saw something other than the highlights. I see that Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 24 points and there was a sequence of replays that I saw where he was knocking down some big time shots.

How long will Bogut be out for the Bucks. Without him the Bucks have little chance to go far so a matchup with them would be a good tune up for round 2.

Bogut might be able to play in July.

Cards, that is. The only thing Bogut will be able to play for months is poker.

Bogut might be able to play in July.

Cards, that is. The only thing Bogut will be able to play for months is poker.

He might be able to play cards, but someone else will have to shuffle and deal them.

And fix them. And hold them. And play them for him.

that injury was fockin terrible,career threatening,hes lucky he didn't tear his shoulder.....he might not make it back next year.

Sorry All i can say is I checked in at the score and with about 3 minutes left in the first quarter we were down 15-9. I thought 9 points in 9 minutes no KG..............................long night. I did not check in again, till this morning.

Glad to see we prevailed.

Hope it happens about 18 more times before August!

The Celtics, Cavs and Mavs are all tied for the best road records at 26-14.

Teams that can win on the road are usually the ones that can go deep in the playoffs.

Bucks committed a smelly foul last night.

Check out the fourth paragraph of the wrap-up in the Milwaukee paper to see where the writer inadvertently (I'm assuming) wrote "fragrant" foul instead of flagrant foul.

Rondo was great. Pierce played well. So did Ray Allen. Davis was effective off the bench and Nate and TA also chipped in some points and good minutes.

Game got chippy in the 4th - almost like Milwaukee wanted to intentionally build some bad blood should they meet in the playoffs.

Celtics will handle this team without much problem in a series.

Celts played very well at both ends. The offense looked more fluid despite the fact that they ended up with one of the lowest assist/field goal ratios (if not THE lowest) of the season (43%). Much of that was due to the fact that the game became one of iso (ono both sides), and basically Paul Pierce beat the Bucks at that game.

And my theory is still that the inspiration for tough defense is a lot higher when the Celts are cooking on offense.

I totally agree Sam. When we play well on Offense the D really cooks. BTW, I was thumbing through a Sports Illustrated book of famous sports photos and the caption to one read "Bill Russell averaged an amazing 29.9 rebounds per game in the 1961 playoffs."
