Kadeem Allen

All I know is he played great defense against Markelle Fultz in the first Arizona-Washington game, so much so that it raised questions about how well Fultz will do against real NBA level defenders.

24 years old, 6'2" in shoes, 6'9.25 wingspan (Danny Ainge type wingspan for sure), 35.5" max vert leap, 192 lbs, tied for 6th fastest sprint at Combine, agility time unspectacular.

Shot 43% from 3 this year on limited attempts, 74% FT shooter on decent attempts, 1.6 steals per game, 10 points per game, mediocre scorer from 2 point range, pretty good true shooting % because he knocked down his 3s, got to the line, and made his FTs.

Not as athletic as Demetrius Jackson, but they're the same size and Allen is only 1 year older. Allen has a much longer wingspan and a much higher standing reach. Allen is probably the better, more consistent defender. Jackson is probably the better scorer. 3 point shooting is hard to judge, but Jackson didn't shoot well from 3 in DLeague last year, while Allen shot 43% in college.

Kevin O'Connor had him rated at #20. He was overjoyed that the Celtics drafted him and feel he is a real steal. I do not know anything about him, but he was on the Sports show tonight and was ecstatic.
Mike Giardi, from Comcast, was laughing because he had no idea who he was and Kevin was so happy!

No disrespect intended to Allen, but he's a G-League player and likely never a Celtic. Same with Bird. At least they both have big-time last names!
