Was thinking the same thing but losing 20 pounds is no small feat.  He should be noticeably quicker.  I think this is his make it or break it year.  If he is a better version of himself it will be good for the Celtics.

His mechanics were probably off from his triceps rubbing against his oversized chest. All his shooting woes will now be solved!

Marcus Smart can play on my team any day of the week. A quicker, more nimble Marcus will be an even better contributor.

Marcus is not going to turn into some great shooter - so if that is your only measure of success, you might as well ship him out of town now. Lucky for us - Brad and Danny recognize what he bring to the table, and IMO with so many new players on the roster - I think Marcus becomes the vocal leader of the Celtics this season. Looking forward to big things from 36.
