Rondo on ALL defensive first team!

Outstanding, although I think the absence of Chris Paul on either the 1st or 2d teams is illuminating. That probably has to do with all the games he lost to injury. He might not have even been considered, as a result.

Still, the NBA is all about "once you're there, you're there". Making your first all-star team is hard. Making your second one is easier. Making your 10th is real easy because you're a established superstar. Now that Rondo is 1st team all-NBA defensive team, it will be that much easier for him from now on.

I hope the refs know this and call fouls accordingly. :-)

Rondo got the 2nd most number of total points and the 2nd most number of 1st team votes. When you consider the only player ahead of him was the DPOY for the last 2 years, that's pretty impressive. He got more votes to be on the 1st team than LeBron or Kobe.

On another point, Ron Artest only got 11 points with only 3 first team votes. Compared to Rondo with his 50 total points with 23 first team votes, that's pretty damn big for Rondo.
