So no, he did not get $1M for just 2 minutes, he got it because he reached the 1,700 minute threshold stipulated in his contract.

About Olynyk, he so far appears to be an ex-Celt who has not regressed after leaving

I always liked Olynyk, but as a spot starter or off the bench. Never as a full time starter.

Brad agreed with me, that is why Kelly never reached 1550 minutes in any season he played for Boston.

I also liked Olynyk, but he was just far to inconsistent for the Cs to keep him at anywhere near what Miami paid him. He made nice progress in many areas from year to year in Boston, but not being able to deliver on a night to night basis allowed the Cs to let someone else sign him.
