I thought I would give the Chief some high praise since in my opinion he tends to get a little short changed in the national media.
Based on the years 1975 through the present and for centers and center forward with at least 30,000 career minutes, points per game 18, rebounds per game 9 and 2 point shooting percent of .500, the below 7 players made the list. Thats pretty exclusive company that the chief is hanging with.

Swish,  When Red made the amazing trade to bring Robert Parish here the first thing that stood out to me was what a great shooter he was.  That high arcing rainbow shot from the endlines was a thing of beauty.  He was truly a diamond in the rough.  He was pretty unstoppable.

In regard to my kudo's for Parish post-here's a look at those players from the 1948 through 1974-75 period. In order to include Russell I reduced the points per game to 12 and the 2 point shooting percentage to .433.
