Just bought the T-shirt! C’s and Red were always way ahead of the curve.

I remember how Johnny Most used to start the broadcast when announcing the starting lineup. “Its Naulls and Sanders at the Forward, Russell at Center, KC and Sam Jones at the guard”

Cue: Carling Black Label Beer commercial followed by New Haven Railroad commercial Jingle.

If I recall, they group ran off around 16 straight wins.
