This caps a historic run from the 4 major Boston sports teams over the past 10 years. We Bostonians are fortunate indeed!

Globe article gets the year Boston last won the NBA championship wrong. Says it was in 2007:

Great Win. They played hard, they played with heart, they made us proud.

Another banner for the Garden Rafters, not the one Celts fans were looking for, but we'll take it! 39 yrs between titles for the Bruins, the C's didn't have to wait THAT long!
