Celtics coach Doc Rivers hinted that neither Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen, nor Mickael Pietrus would play in Friday's visit to Atlanta and all three players were left behind as the team departed Thursday for its final road game of the 2011-12 regular season.

With a three-day break following Friday's game, the Celtics can give Rondo (back), Allen (ankle), and Pietrus (knee) ample time to rest. It's also unlikely the Celtics will push their rotation players very hard over the final two games of the regular season, simply hoping to have everyone at full strength when the playoffs open later this month.

Pierce and Garnett are getting the night off too. Just Doc giving them rest.

And making a statement that we don't need no stinking homecourt advantage against you, we just need to be healthy and rested.

So the starting lineup tonight will be...?

1 - Dooling
2 - Bradley
3 - Sasha
4 - Bass
5 - Steamer

This possible starting lineup shows the typical product that most late season ticket buyers get to see. It gets worse when you get to the bench. I guess it happens every year, even if the teams are jockeying for playoff seeding. We will see how serious Atlanta takes this game, will they play their starters normal minutes or let some of them sit?

Maybe we'll get to see the new guy, Sean Williams, tonight!!!
