Larry Bird named Executive of the Year
Larry Legend is the first person to complete the hat trick of MVP, Coach of the Year and Executive of the Year.
Congrats to Bird.

Re: Larry Bird named Executive of the Year
Man what a career he has had, he is truly one of a kind! Wooden award winner, rookie of the year, league mvp, finals mvp, all-star game mvp, gold medal winner, coach of the year and executive of the year. Also back to back to back winner of the 3 point shootout back when all-star weekend was taken seriously by the participants not like now which the players treat like its a good time at Uncle Dave's company picnic. I think it is safe to say that NO ONE WILL EVER put up a career resume even close to his.

what a great career, what hasn't he done? baddest white dude in the history of the game, top 5 all time, can't have an all-time first team without him as one of the forwards, easily greatest forward ever......top 3 of greatest clutch players ever and one of the great floor burners of all time.

Maybe it's time for the Heat to bring out their secret weapon - Eddy Curry.

Steve did Pat Riley really sign this guy? Ainge and Bird are way better GM's than him. The guy quits on his team, the league and his family and Riley rewards him with more money? brilliant and they have no draft choices.....even with Bosh Miami couldn't win this series.

Re: Larry Bird named Executive of the Year
Riley is actually paying Curry $1,352,182 to sit in his house and watch the games in his living room with his feet up on the coffee table.
Curry is still only 29, a legitimate 7'0" and 295 (his listed weight, though he's probably closer to 350) but he can't stay away from the donuts.
Riley thought he'd be the answer to their puny frontcourt but Curry is the answer to the question "Who's the biggest waste of talent in the entire NBA?" He actually averaged 19.5 points on 57.6 shooting for a full season for the Knicks in '07 but doesn't bother to try anymore.
Free money is a great thing if you can somehow finagle your way to getting it year after year.
He'll be driving a cab next year - if he can fit in one.
