Well, that is disappointing, and as the saying goes "The Grass is always greener" but the only true green is Celtic green.

Good luck Ray, I think.......

Oh well, it was great while it lasted. Anthony Randolph and Chris Wilcox should now be on Danny's radar. A lineup with Paul getting some run at the 2 with J. Green (hopefully) at the 3 opens up some intriguing offensive possibilities. Onward and upward.

The word is Ray signed for 3 million and Boston could have offered him 6 million. But does anyone know if we actually did offer the 6 million? My guess is we didn't.

Ray asked for 3 years, 27 million?

But according to a league source, Allen’s request from the Celtics went beyond the pale — reportedly a demand for a three-year, $27 million contract. The Celtics, according to the source, were in the process of attempting to talk Allen down from $9 million to $6 million per year

gyso,

That's an outstanding caption with that clip!

If Avery wants to put up about 2500 3's for us that would be just fine.

The move makes sense for all parties, especially after we signed Terry.

Good luck to Ray. Miami got it's title, now they've got some class to go with it.

If ray wanted $9 mill I am Glad he is gone..hwy robbery...no way we should've over paid for basically a one trick pony coming off yet another ankle surgery.

Now I just wish we moved him mid season.

Am I bitter? No just surprised at his salary demands

I'll bet Ray knew his demands would not be met and itwould make it easier to rationalize his going to Miami. He's going to make a whole lot less there. I make a tiny percentage of what these athletes make as a teacher, yet I'm expected to get along and work with with my fellow workers, parents, students and bosses as are most other regular folk on their jobs.

A coach that my son had in high school once gave him some interesting and good advice: never let one man stop you from doing what you love to do. This blame game with Rondo is a little odd from a guy who is such a "team" player. We will never know the real truth, that's for sure
