Amundson Drawing Interest From Heat, Knicks, Bulls, Celtics
Lou Amundson has received free agent interest from the Miami Heat, New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics.
“Any of them would be great,’’ said Amundson, who has been working out in his hometown of Denver after being waived Feb. 8 by Minnesota, said of the teams looking at him. “They’re all good teams.’’
Amundson said that his agent, Mark Bartelstein, has had conversations with Heat president Pat Riley.
The Heat are considering whether to fill their 15th roster spot.

sam,
Doesn't pass my "needs two operating opposable thumbs" requirement.
His hands make Perk look like Jerry Rice.

I've liked Amundson since his Phoenix days because of his hustle. He's a scrappy, undersized guy who is more productive than he should be because he "wants it" more. But he's listed at 6-9, which means he's 6-8 with shoes, which means he's really 6-7. And check out his free-throw percentage -- his hands aren't the only thing that is "Perk-esque."
Isn't there a 7-footer somewhere with a pulse? Someone who is "sized," not just undersized?
