Re: Draft Day Thread
The NYT says Paul Pierce is no longer an elite scorer. I beg to differ. Anyone who scores 18.6 ppg and 19.2 ppg in the playoffs is an elite scorer. That's what Paul did in 2012-13. Not his career average of 21+, but still damned good.

Re: Draft Day Thread
The only rationale I can even conceive for the reason of this trade is to make another move. Otherwise, if Ainge obtained all of these guys with the intentions to keep them, I'd have to seriously question his judgment.

Re: Draft Day Thread
k_j,
I don't think anyone expects a guy named "Trader Danny" to keep all of these guys.
Patience. It doesn't all get wrapped up in a neat little bow on draft day. This will take time to unfold, just like it did in the years leading up to the summer of 2007.

KJ,
If you do not have assets, you cannot make a move............Danny did a brilliant job and one thing with Danny....do not get him pissed.......this move with Brooklyn was in the works for weeks....Danny does not let the grass grow beneath his feet.

If you thought you weren't happy with our pick of Olynyk, here's the Charlotte Bobcat fans reacting to them taking Cody Zeller with #4 when Alex Len, Ben McLemore and Nerlen Noels were still on the board.
