Heinsohn missed that game, and Willie Naulls started in his place and scored 10. Judging from the way they came out in the third quarter, Red must have had a few things to say at half time. Warriors won three of the four quarters but Celts had more balanced scoring.

As these old box scores appear, note the many times Russell is among the Celtics' top scorers. Not necessarily THE top scorer most of the time. But I'd love to know what percentage of his team's points he scored over his NBA career. Those who scoff at offensive abilities never had to face him on a basketball court.
