A sure-bet 2 is always more valuable, to me, than an iffy 3. But this could be interesting. He has a nice stroke on his shot.

The bench went wild, which has to be a shot in the arm to Bass, given all the rumors surrounding a guy who does nothing but try his best.

But it's starting to seem as though 3-point success is seen as a way into the coach's good graces.  Frankly, I see the three-ball as detracting from team play.  But I feel the same way about dunks, iso ball, and showtime in general....and a lot of good that does me.
