One of the great things about KG and Rondo and Ray Allen, just to name three, is that they were able to get past the wild and crazy years of their early careers without making fools of themselves and have turned into great family men, fathers and citizens. With all the money, fame and groupies available to any celebrity, keeping your head on straight from the start is saying something.

One thing I've meant to comment on regarding Rondo is how he responded to the initial conspiracy theories about how he broke his hand. When I saw how relaxed he was about it instead of being defensive, joking about the whole shower deal, all those conspiracy theories melted away for me.

I really, really hope he has a great season. I'm rooting for the guy.
